Lego Week!

On our Korimako hub site, there is a slide that says Lego Week. Lego week is when for each day there is a different thing you have to build out of lego, this is a 30-day challenge which means there are 30 different activities to do. The first one I did was to build a new rocket ship for NASA. Mine is made out of blue and white bricks. These activities are really fun to do and you get to choose what you make.
Have you ever done a Lego week challenge?

Reading Activity

This is my first reading activity and it is about a book on Jellyfish, for this activity I had to read the book and then make either a word art or word cloud using what I thought were the main words in the book.  I tried to choose words that were in the book quite a bit and were related to the topic Jellyfish.
This is my Word Art on Jellyfish. It was easy to do and a really fun part of it was making the colors for the writing. I was reading on Epic. Have you ever read on epic? Have you ever used Word art?

Marvellous Mickey Mouse drawing

This is the second activity that I have done that my teachers have set and I chose to do another drawing tutorial, I looked at heaps of tutorials but I chose to do this one, Halloween mickey mouse if you want to have a look at the youtube channel here's the link. There were a few problems when I was sketching but I'm happy with how it turned out. Have you ever followed one of these tutorials?

On our Korimako hub site, my teachers have put up a Google Slide filled with all different and fun things to do for our learning since we are not at school. There are all sorts of things on there like, writing/reading activities to work on there are different PE activities we can do like make trick shots, but for my first activity, I chose to do one of the drawing activities for this activity there is a link to a youtube channel that has drawing tutorials, I looked for an easy one because it was my first time doing this. I found heaps of different ideas and tutorials that I might do next but I chose to follow a Donald Duck tutorial, it was really fun and a little bit challenging but I'm happy with the result.
Heres the link to the youtube channel  If you can check it out and maybe try one of the tutorials.

The Village reading

In the first weeks of reading Mrs, Atkinson told us to make a copy of a slide and read the book and answer the questions. We had to put our answers in a different colour than the question. This took me a while to complete but I managed to finish it in the time frame I needed to. Have you read this article? Have you done these questions?

Fun Fair Chocolate

In reading Mrs. Atkinson made a slide with a bunch of questions on it for us to answer
We are doing the slides one by one and we read two pages a week and get the rest of the week to answer them. I am still answering the questions week by week. Do you have slides like these for your reading? Have you read the article Fair Chocolate?

Where are my family from?

In Inquiry, we are finding out about where some of our family comes from, I chose South Korea.
In this slide, you will find out about the flag, population, fashion, national food, the language the capital of South Korea and a map of the country. I have worked hard on this work but I am happy with the work I have done. Where are your family from?

Respect, Resilience, Reciprocity, Reflectiveness, Resourcefulness

At Marshland School we have the 5R's Respect, Resilience, Reciprocity, Reflectiveness, Resourcefulness. We were told to create a slide about the 5R's and write down the definition of what we thought that R means. But if we finished that we moved on to making an animation to put in. I am still making the animations and they're a little bit hard, I am proud of the work I have done so far.
Do you have 5R's at your school?

SOL- Why are plants green?

In class, we started doing SOL ( Student Organised Learning) And for the first task there were three different questions to choose from 'Why is the sky blue?' 'What is the Concorde?' Or Why are plants green? I chose why are plants green. I found most of my information and pictures on This site
The information took quite a while to find and understand but I'm happy with how it turned out.
Please tell me if anything is wrong or anything needs to change.
